It's tough for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

One run resulted off the bowler's initial ball and from there the right-hander was on her way.

"An opportunity to go out there and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

By the time she was removed the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the last Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a major tournament.
