The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
